Thank you to David Owens for this excellent FPV ride around Honister Slate Mine in the Lake District where we have just installed three NH 4G+2G cells.
There was zero coverage before, and now most UK networks are covered!
We have been in Cumbria installing three 4G sites, using the wavemobile M3Q 4G base station from cellXica, this allows the 5G DRIVE project to bring remote rural coverage to areas that had no coverage before. The locations were; The Bridge Hotel in Buttermere, Gatesgarth Farm, Honister Path, and Honister Slate Mine, Honister Pass.
This was a flight at one of those site locations the Honister Slate Mine, on the evening of 2024.04.26. It was flown FPV with multiple spotter.
